This service covers a wide range of issues, concerns, and themes. Regardless of the chief complaint being presented, individual counseling provides an opportunity to take a personal journey towards greater self, other, and life acceptance, that can not only lead to the amelioration of primary presenting symptoms, but also achieve a deeper resiliency needed for pursuing a life rich with meaning and purpose regardless of the obstacles.

Navigating life with someone in the context of marriage, as with raising a family, requires much more then just love and emotion. When two people come together with different family of origin influences, different communication and conflict styles, personal habits and preferences that can be at odds with each other, it is no wonder that fears of martial estrangement and divorce can persist.
The goal of marriage counseling is to examine and change this narrative through a respectful and caring exploration of the factors that influence and underlie persistent, unresolved conflict and communication problems and provide the necessary insight, training and tools that can turn conflicts into opportunities to know and love one another in ways that both restore and honor the covenant of marriage.
"Great marriages aren't about clear communication, they're about small moments of attachment and intimacy." -Dr. John Gottman

When your in need of general guidance, direction, parenting skills, interpersonal training, a phase of life, navigating a transition, personal improvement, resiliency, mental toughness development (often used in sports psychology) that does not fall within the scope of a mental illness or disorder, then coaching may be a great fit for what you are looking for.
04.
Family serves as perhaps the most important foundational source of influence on individual adult identity formation, as well as, the template for marital patterns and parenting styles. Chronic unresolved conflict, disruptive and/or destructive behaviors and habits, death of a family member, loss of a job, recent moves/changes, divorce or separations can result in significant disruptions and delays to the healthy emotional and social development of children.
The goal of family counseling is to identify these unhealthy dynamics and replace them with healthier skills and tools for restoring and facilitating a family system that represents a more balanced foundation.
